Q8S + A318H + R10 Remote Multi-Camera Workflow.
In the golden warmth of midsummer, Qushui County turned into a breathtaking canvas—lush barley fields dancing in the wind, set against the dramatic highland landscape. On the morning of July 19 at 9:00 AM, the 2024 Tour of Lhasa Cycling Race - Qushui Stage officially kicked off at Taizhou Square. As the starting gun fired, cyclists launched forward like arrows, igniting an electrifying three-day journey of endurance and speed.
On-site, the 8 Q8S 5G bonding encoder served as mobile camera transmitters. The R10 5G bonding switcher received feeds from 6 Q8S, while the remaining 2 were connected to the A318H bonding decoder, which then output their signals via HDMI to the R10—resulting in a seamless integration of all 8 wireless video sources. In addition, 3 local SDI cameras were directly wired into the R10. Altogether, the R10 handled 11 video feeds with ease, enabling robust, centralized live switching and streaming.
Throughout the live coverage, MiNEMedia advanced multi-network bonding algorithm and integrated front-end/back-end solution played a pivotal role in maintaining smooth, high-definition video return. These technologies proved critical in overcoming the unpredictable environmental challenges of the high-altitude outdoor location.
The success of the broadcast is a strong endorsement of the reliability and performance of MiNEMedia real-time video transmission solutions. This collaboration underscores our commitment to innovation and quality, and we are proud to empower our clients with tools that deliver exceptional live viewing experiences.
